Return to BOOTCAMP!

Return to BOOTCAMP saw some 200 MBA alumni and students respond to the invitation to stay connected at Camp@House on 17 April 2008 at 7.30pm. Perched on Dempsey Hill, the unique venue allowed everyone to mingle and network freely in a close-to-nature setting over free flow of beer, house pours and tasty finger food.

Jointly organized by GANO and MBA Office, the event was planned to allow a casual yet rich exchange between current students and alumni.

One such student who regularly attends and values these networking parties is current student Mr Zhang Dong Liang (MBA 2007).

"It is always great to talk to alumni who are currently working in fields I'm interested in. They share such valuable life lessons that are so important for me to bring over to my next job."

Of course, alumni and students alike also take the opportunity to catch up and enjoy themselves at such events. Said Ms Adel Xie (MBA 1998), "There always seems to be a new breath of energy with each event. It's very classy and the setting really befits the status of the MBA students and its alumni."

Added Ms Chua Nan Sze (IMBA 2005), Director of Graduate Studies, EMBA, "I'm really happy to see cohorts of students, classmates and friends from other countries gather, have fun and bond. I look forward to more of such events!"
