On 5 July 2008, the Northern China Alumni Network (NCAN) celebrated the establishment of their Finance Intelligence Club. The event was officiated by Ms Angel An, Alumni Manager of NUS Business School, Shanghai Office.
Mr Zhang Heng (MBA 2002), the treasurer of NCAN and the Chairman of the club introduced the objectives and activities of the Club at the opening of the event.
“The Club provides a platform for alumni who are interested in financial investment and management to discuss and share their knowledge and experience with other members,” said Mr Zhang. “We are planning to hold at least two activities a month.”
Mr Zhang also mentioned that the club had invited Mr Han Bin, Dean of Singapore Asian Economic Research Institute, to be its special advisor.
During the event, Dr Mao Daqing, General Manager of CapitaLand (China), presented on the topic of ‘Market Trend of Urbanization and Housing Development in China after the Olympic Games’.
The evening ended with an opera performance by a local troupe. Many of the alumni expressed that the event was well organized and that they were looking forward to participate in future events organized by NCAN and the Finance Intelligence Club. |
