It's been a year since the Global Alumni Network Office (GANO) met up with NUS Business School's Indian alumni based in New Delhi, and longer with those based in Mumbai. This was addressed when representatives from GANO visited alumni in the two cities earlier this October.
While rekindling relations with familiar alumni, GANO got to meet new faces in their midst. GANO also visited a Fortune 500 company, Pitney Bowes whose India Office is managed by our very own alumni, Manish Choudhary (UCLA NUS MBA 2010).
GANO took this great opportunity to update the alumni on the School's developments. For the long-term cause, GANO also met with key drivers of its India Alumni Network, including Brahm Majithia (APEX-E 2000). These key drivers are determined to spearhead more activities for the alumni community in New Delhi and Mumbai.

Participants Speak
Mr Abishek Nigam (MBA 2008):
The event saw matured discussions on the need for strong alumni network, and the way forward in building the NUS MBA brand equity in India.
We feel that it has further crystallized our understanding of some of the areas that we can work upon to build the India Alumni Network. The key takeaway was to continue building and improving the existing social and professional relationships among alumni through increased interaction and inclusive engagement.
The resoundingly success of the event certainly warrants follow-ups. For this, we plan to initiate more interaction among our alumni in India, and to organize debates and discussions on how to shape up and strengthen our network. Needless to say, the support and commitment which NUS Business School has always provided will continue to be our backbone; and we are sure that in the time to come, this will take on bigger dimensions.
