Come November, 15 alumni will head for Hong Kong on a 4-day 3-night business mission and trekking trip! The experience promises to be both educational and relaxing a mission NUS Business School aims to provide for our valued alumni!
The Business Mission
The first part of this trip will encompass company visits. InvestHK, the department for Foreign Direct Investment that supports overseas businesses in setting up and expanding in Hong Kong; and Sino Land Company Ltd, sister company of Far East Organization and one of the region's leading property developers.
It will end off with an alumni networking dinner on 27 November, where Professor Joseph Cherian, Director of CAMRI at NUS Business School, will give a talk on the shifting financial centre from the USA to Asia. Alumni currently residing in Hong Kong will also be invited to attend the dinner, in part to allow them a chance to mingle with our local alumni, in part to generate momentum for the setting up of the HK Chapter.
The Trek
A 1-day trek of the MacLehose Trail will mark the second part of this trip. The group will be treated to a beautiful and scenic view of Hong Kong along the trail. They will also enjoy some free-and-easy time to themselves before they fly back to Singapore on 29 November.
