Do you usually get used text books or new ones?
I got all the new ones this sem, but i'm considering to maybe buy 2nd hand ones.
Is it much cheaper? any advice?

Get second hand one.
Its much cheaper.
If you're lucky, you will get the book of a lazy student and the book will be as good as new.
If you're even luckier, you will get the book of a hardworking student and all the important points will be highlighted for you.

In fact, some text books are pretty useless. The notes & tutorials are more useful for revision. There are some text books which are pretty useful though (i.e. you still will use them in future). Like ermm.. corporate finance? hahaha.. Where to find them - the best way is to get it from your batch. Coz you wun be taking the modules at the same time as you progress on, so you can easily grab them from your FOC / oweek mates.

Yupp go get used textbooks.
Go to ivle, check out the secondhand textbook forum, it's on the ivle home page, the toolbar to the right of the homepage. Go check it out, read the descriptions there and try to find a book that you want (shouldn't be too difficult). Then arrange a meetup.
Trust me it's much cheaper

Trust me it's much cheaper tks tks - i think i'll keep a look out for the next sem then! do you keep any textbooks after the sem? or do you just sell all of them away?
