Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Reporting to Director, Service Quality and Operations Support, the candidate shall oversee operations training matters of bus crew and frontline staff within the Bus Business Unit.
The candidate will manage a team of driving instructors and trainers and will also be responsible for the pedagogy of the bus technical and soft skills courses.
The candidate is expected to work with colleagues from Operations and Service Quality to review currency and relevancy of course curriculum to meet contemporary operations requirements.
The candidate will also partner corporate Human Capital Management colleagues to design and develop suitable courses for the Bus business unit.
The candidate shall also oversee the overall administrative function of the bus business unit including the setting up of Electronic Data Management System.
This role requires the candidate to manage the documentation of processes and quality management system namely ISO 9001 besides archiving of records within the bus business unit.
There will be a team of executives and supervisors reporting to the candidate beside the training staff.
Requirements:
A recognised bachelor degree from accredited university. MBA is an added advantage.
5 years of management experience preferably in a training environment focusing on rank and file development.
Practical experience in the process of obtaining People Developer certification is an advantage.
Have a good working knowledge of ISO 9001 in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Possess strong interpersonal and oral communication skills in additional to strong writing skills.
