Job Description:
The Communications Assistant Manager must be a disciplined, self-motivated and versatile professional who has in-depth experience in handling corporate and marketing communications for large multinational corporations as well as organisations. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working in matrix reporting functions.

Reporting to the Director, Communications and Development, National University Health System, the incumbent will conceptualise and execute programmes that will profile the NUHS, reach targeted audiences with key messages and help convey the organisation’s leading role in clinical care, medical education and research in Singapore and the region.

- Specifically, the incumbent will help to plan, develop and help conduct corporate and marketing communications programmes to create awareness and raise the profile of the NUHS and its constituent organisations.

- Assume additional job responsibilities and projects as assigned by management.


The Requirements

- Strong EQ skills.
- Competent and proven writing skills
- At least 3-5 years direct experience in managing relations with news media, eg handling press queries, interviews with management, managing communications in crisis situations
- Extensive experience in planning, organizing high-quality events involving top Singaporean, international VIPs
- Experience with publication work, eg coordination, liaison with management, staff, production and design agencies, editing, layout, picture selection, graphics design.
- Working experience in two or three industries, public and private sectors
- Effective team player
- Experience in leading a small team
- Degree qualified.
