Mentor & Mentee Pairing

  • Mentors for students will be chosen on the following basis:
  • Career Expectations: Mentors should ideally be in the same industry or have similar career paths as those aspired by students
  • Age/Experience: Mentor should generally have sufficient age and experience advantage to create value for paired mentee.
  • Background/Nationality: It will be advantageous to have mentors from similar backgrounds and nationalities as the students are, though it may not be an essential requirement
  • A list of mentees interested in Mentorship programs will be circulated among the interested mentors on the above basis
  • MBA Club Alumni Relations Team and the nominated MBA Alumni Club Ex-co member will drive the program and will be responsible to make it successful

Mentee Recruitment

  • All students admitted to the NUS MBA Program are eligible to apply for the mentorship program
  • A survey would be launched where students can indicate their interest to take part in the program as mentees and also provide relevant background details
  • Based on the student data collected and the presence/ availability of registered mentors, mentees would be short-listed and associated to a specific mentor
