Taiwan-based alumni have a reason to celebrate now that the NUS Business School has a chapter up and running in Taipei. The investiture was a big occassion and was graced by Taiwan's Vice President, Mr Vincent Siew, who was the guest of honor.

Speaking at the NCAN Forum, an economist from Beijing University said that the next two years will be challenging ones for China. Growth will slow down, capital markets and the real estate market will remain depressed, and unemployment will be a significant issue.
