The NUS Business School Mandarin Alumni Association celebrated its 25th anniversary on 30 September 2017 with a leadership forum on The Global Economy followed by dinner.

The dinner, which was graced by Sam Tan, Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, saw the launch of NUS Business School Mandarin Alumni Endowment Fund, which raised a total of $455,888. The Fund, a first-of-its-kind in NUS Business School, will provide a full scholarship for tuition fees and help students who are in financial difficulty. Mr Kwek Chok Ming (BBA 1978 and EMBA-C 2009), President of the NUS Business School Mandarin Alumni Association commented that contributing to the Fund was a meaningful way to help students, as well as a good platform to spread awareness for alumni who wish to help and encourage giving to the alma mater.

The Executive MBA (Chinese) Class of 2013 also held a reunion in the same morning. Alumni from various countries like Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia and Taiwan specially flew in to reunite with their fellow classmates on this special occasion. The cohort raised a sum of $25,000 in support of the NUS Business School Mandarin Alumni Endowment Fund.
