The NUS MBA Mentorship Programme kicked off its latest mentoring cycle with a bang over drinks and dinner on 8 February. Former mentees Kunyarat Ardchon, Calvin Tan and Chetan Prakash, as well as alumni mentors Henry Heng (MBA 1997) and Yeo Keng Joon (MBA 1985) shared their experience and thoughts on the Programme with participants from the current cycle. NUS Business School’s Executive-In-Residence Mr Tan Soo Jin also shared his personal insights about the value and meaning of mentorship from the point of a mentor.

The NUS MBA Mentorship Programme is a flexible professional development programme bringing together current MBA students and alumni in an exchange of knowledge, information, insights and experience. Lasting a duration of 7 months, the Programme also helps facilitate the development of relationships between NUS MBA students and its alumni community.

This year saw more than 30 alumni mentors, including 2 new and 1 returning mentors, coming on board to mentor 54 MBA students (more than half of the full-time cohort). These mentors, who came from the MBA or EMBA Programmes, had graciously volunteered their time and effort for the Mentorship Programme, ensuring its continuity and success year after year.
